Ceremony Venues
The unique location of Noosa North Shore Retreat provides an abundance of natural ceremony locations.  The prime location is a natural ampitheatre with the tranquil shores of Lake Cooroibah as the backdrop.  Our wedding ceremony packages have been designed to complement the natural surroundings. The packages available provide a variety of choices intended to meet all your requirements and can be customised to suit your individual needs.

Reception Venues
Whether you would prefer cocktails and canapes or a formal sit-down meal, the expansive Verandah Restaurant and adjacent alfresco deck provide the perfect setting for your reception.  We have ample room with seperate areas for canapes, formal dining and dancing.

The Retreat offers a variety of fully inclusive packages designed to incorporate all requirements including plated menus, beverage packages and venue hire. The packages we offer can be tailored to your requirements on request.

Accommodation
A range of affordable accommodation options are available, from 3 Star free-standing self contained cottages to motel style accommodation, Noosa North Shore Retreat has something for everyone.

Sample Itinerary of a Wedding at Noosa North Shore Retreat

3.30pm  Guests leave their Cottages and stroll to the ceremony site under the shady gum trees.  Kangaroos observe the guests from a distance and decide to go back to sleep.  The Groom arrives with his groomsmen.

4.00pm  The Bride arrives from Cottage 1.  No need to worry about transport, hire cars or traffic delays, it’s just 10 meters from the Cottage to the red carpet.  An elegant marriage ceremony takes place, with stunning views of Lake Cootharaba as the backdrop to all the ceremony photos. 

4.30pm  A round of applause as the newly married couple are pronounced man and wife and kiss!  Guests give their congratulations to the couple and more photos are taken. 
5.00pm  The Bridal Party departs to the beautiful North Shore beach for formal photos with a hamper of canapés and Champagne.  

5.00pm  Guests leave the ceremony site and walk past the kangaroos to the private alfresco verandah where they are given a warm welcome by the Noosa North Shore staff.  Guests relax and enjoy canapés, conversation and drinks whilst waiting for the newly married couple to return.  Young guests play on the nearby swings.

6.15pm  The Wedding Party arrives and joins guests for cocktails, canapés and mingling.  Time to relax and enjoy sharing the company of your friends and family. 

6.30pm  The Wedding Party and guests are seated at tables set with crisp white linen and the glassware sparkles.  The MC greets everyone followed by more applause and camera flashes. A delicious meal is shared with family and friends.

7.15pm  Speeches take place between the courses and love, memories and embarrassing childhood incidents are shared.

8.00pm  The Bride and Groom cut the wedding cake which is then served for dessert.  For their first dance, they choose a romantic bridal waltz under the stars.  Musicians pick up the tempo and guests dance the night away. 

10.00pm  The Bride, Groom and guests prepare to depart as the evening comes to a close, taking with them fond memories of a magical day filled with fine cuisine and exceptional hospitality at Noosa North Shore Retreat.
